1) Scan It
If you’re trying to create pdf from your phone, chances are you’re looking at it through a smartphone—and while many of them have decent scanning apps built-in, they aren’t necessarily meant for making high-quality scans. You’ll get better results if you pick up an external scanner; our favorites are Epson’s WorkForce DS40 (which connects via Wi-Fi and is iOS compatible) and Canon’s V400 Photo All-in-One Printer (which uses its app). Both will cost you less than $200—the price of what a single sheet of paper costs in most restaurants these days.
2) Use an App
If you want to create pdf from your mobile phone, there are plenty of apps that can do it. The most popular is Adobe Acrobat DC, which will allow you to create or convert nearly any file into a PDF, provided you have its pro version. (If not, it’s $24.99/month.) If you need something more low-budget and versatile, take a look at Foxit Reader. It works on all platforms, including mobile devices, for free—and with some pre-existing limitations. Still, looking? Just Google PDF creator apps and try them out until you find one that suits your needs. It might seem daunting if you’ve never created or edited a PDF on your phone before but trust us: these aren’t complicated solutions—or hard concepts to grasp.
